The Shop In Lacombe program was officially launched on Monday, June 11, 2007 and we have over 25 businesses in Lacombe participating, with more being added every week. Shop in Lacombe is a great example of a community economic development program that helps local businesses get the word out about how shopping locally can lead to great things.
How does it work?
- Purchase your Shop In Lacombe Card at any participating business in Lacombe. Cards are valued at $10 (plus gst).
- Register by clicking REGISTER YOUR CARD on the shopinlacombe.com website.
- Look at the posted offers on the shopinlacombe.com website and start saving!
Local businesses benefit directly from the sale of cards and the increased traffic and sales that are generated through the use of the card. Businesses also benefit from the media buzz that is created through the program.
 What do Businesses do to Participate?
Businesses need to register by contacting the Town of Lacombe's Economic Development department at 403.782.6666, or by dropping into the Town Office located at 5432 - 56th Avenue, Lacombe where they can purchase their sales kit (including 10 cards for $50 plus gst).
Businesses must have one active offer posted on the site at all times, and can have up to 5 offers posted simultaneously. Businesses are responsible for posting their offers and keeping them up to date. Businesses can change offers as often as they wish, provided that they have a valid user name and password.
